Okay, man, but where are we going to be when we run out of uranium and we’re stuck with the empty shells of all those multi-billion dollar “3rd and 4th” generation reactors and all the waste they produced?

(Amazing, how many people in this thread mentioned world war II. It’s gonna be world war III if we don’t get our heads screwed on straight– and pronto….)

“America will need to develop it’s own oil” Yes, America extracts oil overseas, thus killing people in Iraq.

I agree with previous comment, we destroy ourselves. It’s a fact. I think we will never understand how to keep ourselves content. May be we will have the same fate of the dinosaurs.

Why aren’t the presidential candidates talking about some of the proposed plans out there like the PickensPlan, or these new solar towers being built in Australia.

They don’t have to embrace a plan – just talk about our options and what’s being developed.

I couldn’t agree with this more and what Carlin had to say about the environment was right on! We are the one’s that suffer, not the planet! The planet will continue to survive and heal itself if we kill ourselves off. Just like it continued to survive after the dinosaurs died.

O’Reilly had some really good points.
